Teacher. Is it your Vocation or Occupation? If you’re anything like me, it’s a lot of both. I love my job because I love my God. I recognize that it is a gift to be able to pursue my passion and purpose daily. When someone gives you a gift you cherish, you take care of it. When it comes to my classroom and my career in education, I desire to thrive. In a field wrought with so many barriers to success and a plethora of reasons to walk away, I want to lean in and excel. I have found that the gift of teaching and the skill of teaching can be a match made in heaven, but it takes a lot of prayer and a lot of pedagogy for me to get it right. Do you feel the same way? Then you’re in the right place. Your tribe is here.

Pull up a chair and stay for a while. I say to you the same thing I say to my students when I greet them at the door each day: Welcome Home.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. - Colossians 3:23
